Bath honey

A belief

Honey, like wormwood, cures 99 ailments.

Directions for use of bath honey:

  • When a person has sweated thoroughly, i.e., the harmful and excess substances have exuded out of the body, the skin begins to soak up the moisture from the body surface. This moment can be nicely used for giving one’s body something even better, for example, pampering it with bath honey. (People having allergic reaction to apian products should be careful!!!)
  • take bath honey in the hands and carry it by patting movements onto the spot of massage; one part of the ointment goes there, the other part is left on the hands;
  • if there are several areas of massage, each area is massaged by turns;
  • when all the bath honey is carried over to the spot of massage, “glue” the palms strongly to the body and then tear them away sharply (the same is done with the bath besom);
  • patting gradually changes over to much sharper and stronger movements: palms are stronger and stronger pressed to the body and respectively torn away more and more sharply (flapping with the bath besom is stronger and stronger);
  • the bath honey is driven into the skin, and only a thin layer remains on the surface;
  • after that, a white pulp appears on the hands, the largest part of which goes over to the palms;
  • this whole procedure takes 5-10min.;
  • then honey is washed off with warm water and a sponge; in no case use soap for washing, otherwise the whole effect obtained during the bath procedure will be lost; the pores having absorbed the bath honey so well, should not be polluted with chemical detergents;
  • finally, a moisturizing cream should be rubbed into the skin.

Advantages of bath honey massage:

  • radically improves blood circulation in deep layers of the skin;
  • favours supply of viscera and tissues with nutrients;
  • by giving over biologically active substances, honey absorbs toxins and accelerates their discharge from the body;
  • purifies the skin; it becomes silky, elastic, subdermic concretions are evened out;
  • the whole condition of body is improved.
